We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Public Sector Grant Supervisor in Dublin City.
This role offers the opportunity to work within a statutory non-commercial State body, primarily concerned with the planning, development, and funding of sustainable transport modes on a national basis.
The successful candidate will enjoy hybrid working arrangements, with a minimum of two in-office days per week, and will be part of an organisation that values continuous improvement and utilisation of technology to streamline business processes.
Benefits of the Grant Supervisor Job include: Hybrid working model (2-3 days work from home)Opportunity to contribute to a strong compliance cultureContinuous improvement and technology utilisationResponsibilities of the Grant Supervisor Job include: Lead the end-to-end administration and processing of designated grants areas.Act as key point of contact for the Department of Transport, C&AG, internal and external stakeholders.Lead and support the month-end grants process.Contribute to a strong compliance culture by ensuring robust internal controls and audit standards are achieved and maintained.Support Grant and External audits as required and provide support for the preparation of annual Financial Statements and annual budget process.Collaborate on projects as part of a continuous improvement program.Coordinate and assist in the development of Finance Systems upgrades, enhancements and process developments both within the team and related control cycles.Staff mentoring & management where required.Requirements of the Grant Supervisor Job include: Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.Must have strong understanding of financial management and auditing project processes.A 'can-do' and flexible approach with the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.Strong MS Office and MS Excel skills.Proven ability to present and direct in a clear and concise manner.About the job Contract Type: Permanent
