Grocery Manager - West Co. Galway The main purpose of the role: Ensure the Grocery Department operates efficiently and effectively at all times.
Provide our customers with excellent quality products and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum 1 years` experience in a management position An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Excellent communication skills Good delegation skills Ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided to all customers.
Highly driven with a strong work ethic Commerciality and brand awareness Passion for grocery retail Thrive in a fast-paced working environment Main duties: Communicate the required operating standards to all employees and ensure they understand and implement such standards at all times Drive sales through in-store initiatives Merchandise and present the department to the highest standard at all times and following relevant store planograms and guidelines Adhere to weekly stocktaking and daily waste procedures in the Grocery Department Liaise with the management team to ensure that weekly gross profit, net profit and sales targets are achieved Conduct quality and freshness checks Attend relevant training as required and implement this in-store Have in-depth knowledge of all Health & Safety regulations and how they relate to the store.
Conduct any other duties as directed by the Store Manager.
