Group Accountant

Delighted to announce Oliver James have partnered exclusively with a global insurance company to find a Group Accountant to join their finance team.
The Group team plays a key part in delivering the year end group financial statements.
It's important to note this is a 6 Month Contract; however, there is a high likelihood of it being extended or being made permanent.
What you can expect:Support the quarter end close/year end process.Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliation.Production of the annual report and other group key deliverables.Working closely and collaboratively with other Finance Teams, especially the IFRS 17 Team.What you need to apply:Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA.General insurance experience preferred.A good understanding of regulatory standards especially for insurance.Experience liaising with auditors and third party consultancies.If you're interested in discussing this further, please reach out on the below details for a confidential discussion.
