Group Accountant

This presents an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to become part of a prominent finance team.
The Role: Responsibility for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly and quarterly group accounts and reports for multiple entities within the Group Structure.
Participate in the year-end audit and consolidation procedures, contributing to the preparation of statutory accounts.
Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with external tax advisors.
Provide analytical insights and decision-making support to commercial and operations teams.
Assist in preparing and presenting reports for the senior management team.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance reporting systems and streamline processes within the Group Finance function.
Contribute to the design and implementation of internal controls across the organization.
Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) Minimum 2 years PQE Previous experience in a manufacturing setting would be advantageous Skills: Team-oriented mindset with a focus on team development.
Strong technical proficiency, capable of applying standards to practical scenarios.
Proficient in internal controls and systems, with a problem-solving approach.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Self-driven and proactive, emphasizing attention to detail and structured problem-solving.
Proficient in project management, committed to meeting deadlines.
Experience with ERP systems Able to proactively manage issues and devise solutions.
Detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Advanced Excel skills and adeptness with IT systems.
