This strategic leadership role is essential for shaping and driving the company's financial vision, influencing decision-making, and ensuring long-term financial success.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in FP&A, ideally in PE-backed environments, and possess a keen understanding of the pace, urgency, and focus required to thrive in such a dynamic setting.
Personality is key for this role.
The client needs someone with a PE mindset, hugely driven and ability to get things done with strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the CFO to define and execute the company's financial strategy, ensuring seamless alignment with corporate goals and objectives.
Provide insightful, data-driven recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors to inform critical business decisions.
Lead the annual budgeting cycle, long-term financial forecasting, and scenario analysis, ensuring robust financial planning and alignment with strategic initiatives.
Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of financial reporting and analysis across the organization.
Represent the FP&A function in meetings with the Board and Executive Committee, delivering clear, impactful financial presentations that guide business strategies.
Spearhead the implementation and optimization of financial planning systems and tools to enhance efficiency and decision-making.
Candidate Profile: Minimum 15 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, with a solid background in financial services, ideally within a PE-backed or fast-paced corporate environment.
Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams, with an emphasis on mentoring future leaders.
Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to addressing business challenges.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or an MBA is highly preferred.
