Group On-Line & Social Media Manager Windward Management are looking for aGroup Online & Social Media Managerto join its Sales & Marketing Team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract.
TheGroup Digital & Social Media Managerwill administer and assist in the execution the companys social media strategies.
This role will be responsible for overseeing Social Media, and Digital Marketing strategies for a portfolio of 18 hotels across the Windward Group.
Reporting to the Group Sales, Marketing & I.T.
Director, responsibilities will include developing and updating social media policies and procedures, measuring and analyzing the effectiveness of social media campaigns, identifying best practices and ensuring that they are complied with across all hotel campaigns.
We operate a hybrid-working model with a mix of office, site visits and working from home.
About Us Founded in 2007, Windward Management is a leading hospitality management company, managing and operating hotels on behalf of their owners.
We currently have 18 hotels in our portfolio including renowned properties such as Farnham Estate Spa & Golf Resort, Harveys Point and Aghadoe Heights Hotel & Spa.
Windward Management is a team of highly experienced hotel operators and investors with a hotel portfolio of approx.
2,000 keys* in Ireland and Continental Europe.
Role/Responsibilities Have a deep understanding of all widely used social channels with experience managing social media for brands, creating and writing content.
Experience with editing tools for content creation, especially Canva.
Creative, innovative thinker who loves coming up with engaging content ideas across a wide range of property types.
Be able to lead the development and creation of content across multiple brands.
Be able to work collaboratively with the marketing teams across hotel portfolio to plan and deliver focused digital marketing strategies and activity.
Experience working with bespoke websites and using CMS applications.
Experience with project management and the website design process.
Prepare and provide regular analysis and reporting (monthly, quarterly as appropriate).
Commercially focused with experience in working with revenue and sales teams to drive business strategy.
Experience in agency collaboration and stakeholder management.
Requirements Prior experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role Full Irish Driving Licence Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills A creative flair and ability to create engaging content Prior experience as a copywriter/content manager (preferred, not essential) Degree in Digital Marketing (preferred, not essential) Strong understanding of Google Ads Experience with SEO, email marketing, PR and organic and paid social media Desirable Criteria Understanding of Booking Engine Technology.
Basic understanding of HTML desired but not essential.
