Job Summary:The GSOC Analyst, assigned to a specific client, will support the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) in Cork, Ireland, providing 24/7/365 continuous monitoring, incident detection, and response services for the client's global operations. This role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual to manage alarms, provide travel and journey management support, and oversee access control operations.
Essential Functions:Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.Operate the GSOC in shift patterns as required.Provide a high level of service to local and remote client sites and staff with an emphasis on the security and safety of client's staff, assets, and information.Monitor security alarms, notifications, and surveillance systems in real-time to detect and assess potential security incidents.Conduct event security monitoring and provide timely incident response according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Support travel and journey management by tracking employee movements, assessing travel risks, and providing real-time alerts and guidance.Manage access control operations to ensure only authorized personnel access sensitive areas.Maintain accurate logs and records of all monitored activities, incidents, and responses.Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on GSOC activities and identifying trends or potential improvements.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including security personnel, emergency services, and other relevant entities, to ensure effective incident management.Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on the latest security trends, tools, and best practices.Support the GSOC Manager and Lead Analysts with additional tasks and responsibilities as required.Maintain active awareness of the monitored environment to promote safe and effective working.Maintain a conscientious and proactive approach to achieve excellent standards.All other duties, as assigned.Education, Experience, and Certifications:Minimum of 2 years' experience in a security operational role, relevant security-related certifications/qualifications would be desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Effective communication skills with comprehensive level in the English language, written and spoken.Proficiency in using security monitoring tools, software, and systems.Experience in security analysis, problem-solving, handling preliminary inquiries, incident assessment, and triaging reports.Ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports, independent of direction, where necessary.Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.Attentive to detail and accuracy.Serve as an effective team member.Effective independent judgment and decision-making ability.Able to carry out responsibilities with little supervision.Client-oriented and results-driven.Able to multi-task and organize workload for effective implementation.Strong ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies with a calm and efficient approach.Working Conditions:This position, with or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively. Regular usage of computers.Manual dexterity for occasional tasks such as reaching and lifting small objects and operating office equipment.Close and distant vision abilities alongside focus adjustment capacity.Frequently required to sit, stand, and/or walk.Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7/365 coverage.Travel when required.
