Guest Relations / Hotel Porter

Our Guest Relations Team (or Hotel Porters as they are sometimes referred too) are responsible for assisting our guests to sure they have a great stay .
Their duties include answering questions about our hotel and it's facilities, about the city and the experiences available within the region.
They help guests guests with their luggage to and from their vehicle and coordinate with other staff & departments to ensure the guest needs are taken care off.
They are also required to valet park cars, so a full clean driving licence is a requirement.
They also take guest luggage, tag each one and store them where available.
The teams function also involves maintaining cleanliness, appearance and safety standards of our public areas and the external area of the hotel.
Other responsibilities include: Assist front desk staff with answering calls and making any necessary arrangements for restaurants, car transfers, etc.
To set up any conference room or public area to ensure set up is as per our function sheet.
Assist the service team to set up any upcoming events and support the service when need arises.
Assist other employees by running their errands such as moving stock and delivering items when necessary.
