Super savvy Guest Relations Manager for top luxury property in Co Kerry, accommodation available We have a fabulous opportunity for a highly experienced and committed Guest Relations Manager to join one of the top hotel properties in the beautiful southwest of Ireland.
This role is responsible for ensuring an exceptional guest experience by building meaningful relationships with regular and VIP guests and developing unique, luxurious experiences for them.
Key responsibilities: Provide upscale guest service throughout their stay, anticipating any needs Oversee and assist front desk as required to ensure a seamless guest experience VIP guest liaison, creating strong relationships with repeat guests, special occasion guests and high-end groups Liaise with all HODs and hotel teams on special guest requirements Develop unique and memorable guest experiences tailored to special occasions and guest requests Address guest concerns and feedback promptly, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues and ensure satisfaction Duty Management shifts, focused on working with VIPs Maintain an in-depth knowledge of local area, making recommendations that will enhance the guests stay The ideal candidate: Minimum of two years experience as Guest Relations / Front Office Manager of a 4/5 star luxury property Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with regular guests Excellent communication skills, with a calm and positive attitude when dealing with challenging situations Proven ability to develop unique and memorable guest experiences Ability to adapt to change, manage pressure, and work independently or within a team Mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential, additional languages an advantage Experience with Opera PMS an advantage Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanour Expert knowledge on local area, attractions, activities, restaurants, etc Benefits with this role: Complimentary meals on duty Pension scheme Employee discounts Career development and training opportunities Employee social events Complimentary laundry for uniforms On-site, state-of-the-art staff accommodation (subject to availability) If you are deeply committed to providing a stellar guest experience and are looking to join a property of distinction, this could be the perfect fit!
