Matrix Recruitment are actively recruiting for a H&S Advisor for our client a leader within the engineering sector in County Dublin This is a permanent, days role Your new job Key duties & responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Provide training and toolbox talks to site teams to foster a culture of safety.Identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring thorough reporting and the implementation of corrective actions.Maintain and update documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.Liaise with project teams, clients, and contractors to address safety concerns proactively. What are we looking for? Experience: 3-5 years in a Health & Safety role, ideally on construction sites.Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Health & Safety or a related discipline.Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Irish Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.Industry Exposure: Experience in pharmaceutical projects (preferred) or with M&E companies.
