Ring is seeking a Hardware Validation Engineer who will play a crucial role, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
Key job responsibilities Develop and implement detailed validation plans tailored to specific hardware designsCollaborate with design and production teams to understand and test against product requirementsAnalyze and interpret data from validation tests, offering insights and recommendationsExperienced in testing automationDocument validation processes, findings, and insights in a structured and clear mannerMaintain, calibrate, and oversee the use of validation equipment to guarantee consistent resultsWork cross-functionally to troubleshoot and address any hardware issues identified during validation A day in the lifeAs a hardware validation engineer, your main job is to ensure our products are the best for our customers. You will set up and run tests on the hardware products to make sure everything works just right. When you look at the test results, you can figure out what we can do better. You also need to document all your findings clearly; every step you take is about making our customers happy and sticking to the top quality we promise.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering5+ years of product engineer, product development engineer, test engineer, or test development engineer in a manufacturing environment experienceStrong communication skills, both written and verbalExperience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscope, multi-meter, etc.Experience in working with contract manufacturers for final assemblyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in test software design and development for automated functional and system testingExperience with programming languages such as PythonExperience in collaborating with external vendors for test fixture design and developmentPosted: October 15, 2024
