Your new company Exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based just outside Cork City.
Your new role Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and payments.
Assist in month-end closing activities, ensuring all accounts payable transactions are accurately recorded.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and address vendor inquiries in a timely manner.
Assist in the preparation of periodic payment runs Monitor and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies and maintaining positive vendor relationships.
Process invoices accurately and efficiently, matching them with purchase orders and verifying approvals.
Assist in the implementation and utilization of accounts payable software and systems.
Streamline accounts payable workflows by implementing automation and efficiency improvements.
Covering colleagues duties as required What you'll need to succeed Proven experience (3+ years) in accounts payable or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; experience with automated accounts payable solutions is desirable.
