Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Clinical: Lead by example with exceptional clinical abilities, serving as a role model for your team.
Provide expert chairside support to clinicians across various dental procedures.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all dental specialties, instruments, and materials.
Continuously enhance clinical skills through ongoing education and training.
Audit and uphold clinical standards throughout the practice, ensuring excellence in patient care.
Organize and maintain the clinical environment to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure all equipment is safe, well-maintained, and efficiently functioning, reporting any issues promptly.
Support new dentists during their trials and help them transition smoothly into their roles.
Utilize the "Exact" software proficiently to manage clinical tasks and train new team members.
Manage inventory efficiently to ensure the practice operates at full capacity.
Inspire and mentor the clinical team, fostering growth and skill development.
Administrative: Balance clinical and administrative responsibilities with ease.
Actively participate in staff meetings and contribute to service delivery.
Uphold high standards of professionalism that reflect positively on the entire dental team.
Maintain accurate nursing records and equipment reports.
Adhere to clinical governance principles, including quality, risk, and health and safety.
Participate in performance evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and development.
Conduct performance reviews for clinical staff, providing constructive feedback and support.
Assist in recruiting and onboarding new clinical team members, ensuring they meet our high standards.
Manage team schedules, timesheets, and holidays with accuracy and efficiency.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to adapt to the department's evolving needs.
