Head Of Data – Fintech

Head of Data opportunity reporting into Chief Product Officer at high profile FinTech. The Head of Data will have Data Science, Data Engineering & BI teams reporting into them and be responsible for growing these teams.
This is a new role within an 80 person company, which has recently received high profile financial backing from one of the biggest FS institutions in the world.
Initially, the Head of Data will build a team around them while developing a Data Warehouse & Data Infrastructure to effectively collect and store crucial data within the company. In the first 12 months, the Data Scientists in the team should start to deliver some quick wins from this Customer Data.
Longer term, the goal will be to further develop the company's data asset, enabling better & more targeted services for customers. This Data Asset could also be monetized externally given its unique value.
Head of Data – Required experience:Building Data Science or Data Engineering teams from scratchDeveloping a Data Warehouse & BI Reporting and Analytics layer on topPrevious Financial Services experience is a plus, as is any experience of working in a two-sided digital marketplaceTechnical background is open at the moment as Tools & Process are yet undefined, although it is likely you'll come from strong STEM academics and have a good level of experience with SQL, Python, RSend your CV now to apply for the Head of Data position.
