About the Role:
As Head of Data Science, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that transform large datasets into valuable business insights. You will lead a team, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-impact analysis that drives decision-making. Your role will involve building hypotheses, developing machine learning pipelines, creating interactive dashboards, and using advanced statistical methods to identify trends and patterns that shape the future of the business.

Key Responsibilities:Identify impactful hypotheses and validate them with data to drive operational improvements.Analyse large datasets from both structured and unstructured data sources to generate insights.Build and scale machine learning pipelines and improve data performance through feature engineering and optimisation.Translate technical data into easy-to-understand insights and recommendations for stakeholders.Develop and maintain interactive dashboards with real-time data visuals.Collaborate with IT to integrate, test, and manage scalable data sets.Technical Skills:Expertise in data visualisation and presenting complex data insights.Strong knowledge of designing algorithms and using statistical methods for data analysis.Experience with regression models, clustering, dimensionality reduction, and other advanced analytical techniques.Experience using data platforms like Power BI and Azure Data applications is a plus.Qualifications and Experience:2-4 years of experience in a Head of Data Science role or looking for a step up into a leadership position.Proven ability to deliver insights that positively impact business outcomes.Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills.Experience in presenting data-driven insights to C-level executives.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Java.Key Attributes:Passion for high standards and delivering exceptional results.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and remain resilient.A proactive mindset with the energy to influence and drive change.A "can-do" attitude, always focused on getting things done.
