Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Finance to join our leadership team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business, driving financial strategy, and ensuring the long-term financial health of the company.
They will also have responsibility for the management and delivery of the IT team within the business.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of finance in the Retail Industry.
Key Responsibilities:       Develop and implement the financial strategy of the company in alignment with business goals.
      Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
      Partner with the Senior Team to drive business performance and growth.
      Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
      Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
      Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and implementing corrective actions.
      Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
      Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
      Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
      Manage cash flow, ensuring the company maintains adequate liquidity.
      Optimise working capital to support operational needs and business growth.
      Identify and mitigate financial risks.
      Continued development and implementation of risk management policies and procedures.
      Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders       Working with the IT team and 3 rd party companies to ensure the ongoing delivery and continuous improvement of a reliable and resilient IT infrastructure Requirements:       Bachelor's degree plus ACCA, ACA or CPA qualified.
      Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior Finance role       Proven experience in the retail industry is essential.
      Strong track record of driving financial performance and growth.
      Proven leadership and team management skills.
      Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
      Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Nominal Salary: To be agreed
