The role The Head of Managed Network Services will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and management of our network services team.
This role requires a strong technical background in networking, with a particular emphasis on Fortinet and Trellix technologies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with firewalls, networks and EDR technologies and will be adept at managing a team of 10-12 network support engineers.
Additionally, the role demands strong commercial skills to help scope new requirements and secure new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of 10-12 network support engineers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
Oversee the delivery of managed network, endpoint and cloud security services, ensuring compliance with SLAs and customer satisfaction.
Utilise strong technical knowledge in networking, with a focus on Fortinet and Trellix technologies highly desirable.
Maintain and enhance firewall, network and endpoint security measures.
Collaborate with sales and business development teams to scope new requirements and secure new business opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Act as a technical advisor, providing guidance and support to the team without being hands-on with technical tasks.
Key Requirements Strong technical background in networking, endpoint and cloud security.
Extensive experience with Fortinet and Trellix technologies or similar technologies.
Proven expertise in firewall management.
Demonstrated experience in managing a team of network support engineers.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to scope new requirements and secure new business.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to provide technical guidance without being hands-on.
