Led by former contributors to Lido and P2P, Drop is on a mission to unlock the nascent power of billions of dollars of liquidity now frozen in traditional staking across Celestia, Cosmos Hub, and other IBC-enabled chains.
Built on Neutron , Drop is creating a tightly integrated ecosystem around secure liquid staking assets, using its unique cross-chain smart contract architecture to enable innovative use cases and high-yield strategies for users.
Website About the Role We are seeking a fastidious and incisive Head of Marketing to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DeFi, exceptional content creation skills, and the ability to craft and execute marketing strategies.
This role will focus on driving execution, managing social media, and creating engaging content to educate our users and partners.
Responsibilities Marketing Strategy: Optimize Drop's marketing funnels, branding strategy, positioning strategy, and PR strategy based on insights gleaned from various data sources.
Brand : Elevate and uphold Drop's brand identity and messaging across all marketing platforms, ensuring consistent and high-quality communication.
Events : Craft and execute Drop's events strategy to achieve general and event-specific objectives.
Community Building : Collaborate with senior leadership, investors, partners, and users to cultivate a vibrant, global community.
Leadership : Lead and grow the marketing department over time, ensuring peak performance across team members by developing and tracking OKRs, doing hands-on training, and reviewing and providing feedback on completed work.
Content : Create and manage content for blogs, conference presentations, videos, and more, ensuring all content is effectively distributed across Twitter, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
Ecosystem Development : Work cross-functionally with the BD, design, and product departments to collaborate on projects with different categories of partners, leveraging opportunities to enhance partnerships.
Budgeting : Work with senior leadership to plan and effectively allocate a marketing budget.
Analytics : Monitor and analyze performance metrics, taking a data-driven approach to drive experimentation and inform strategy.
Education : Utilize a deep understanding of crypto and DeFi to furnish the Drop community with relevant and educational content and resources.
Adaptation : Adapt to evolving business needs by embracing new responsibilities as required.
Requirements Proven experience in product marketing, especially within the DeFi space.
Strong skills in creating engaging and informative content for various platforms.
Expertise in managing and growing social media channels, particularly Twitter.
Experience in planning and executing events and conferences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (native level).
Experience working in or with markets in Asia and Europe.
Ability to quickly analyse and provide sharp insights.
Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and high-quality work with a data-driven and pragmatic approach.
