Your Role as Head of Materials and Supply Chain:Lead the operational procurement, logistics, customer service, and customs compliance teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.Manage inbound and outbound logistics to support the production of high-quality diagnostic equipment.Collaborate closely with global procurement and category managers to build strong, effective relationships with suppliers.Work with IT and business excellence teams to digitalise procurement and logistics processes, driving operational improvements.Oversee cost management across purchasing, contracts, freight, and third-party logistics (3PL), ensuring optimum efficiency.Ensure all operations comply with stringent health, safety, and productivity standards, contributing to a safe and high-performing work environment.Contribute to the business's strategic direction as part of the Senior Leadership Team, working towards long-term business goals.Experience and Qualifications for the Head of Materials and Supply Chain Role:A third-level degree in Business, Engineering, or a relevant discipline (QQI Level 8) is required.You should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in logistics and/or procurement at a senior management level.Proven experience in cost management, including strong negotiation skills and a pragmatic approach to contracts and cost reduction.Strong leadership skills, with experience in coaching and developing teams, as well as building succession plans.A track record of driving continuous improvement in procurement and logistics, including the ability to implement digital tools and optimise processes.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to address complex issues and drive strategic solutions.Strong compliance knowledge, particularly in procurement, inventory management, customs, and export control.Apply Now:
