Head of Operations, Permanent, Full Time This senior management position is part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) of the CRC and the post holder will be joining a dynamic, visionary and professional team.

A key aspect of the responsibilities attaching to the Head of Operations is to support the work of the CEO by taking lead responsibility for overseeing the day to day operations of the CRC.

The Head of Operations will develop and foster collaborations between senior managers, functions and support services to ensure an integrated approach to providing services.
The objective of the position is to plan, develop and deliver enhanced operational performance across the CRC.

As part of the senior management team, the post holder will contribute to strategic planning and change leadership both in the context of current operational performance and in respect of the future development of the CRC.
He/she will plan and drive significant operational initiatives to monitor and report on the progress of the 2022- 2026 Strategic Plan.
They will support the overarching development of the Integrated Quality framework.
The post holder will review on an ongoing basis, services being offered and be involved, with others, in the development of new services in line with service needs and demands.
He/she will have shared responsibility for key performance indicators in the CRC and the development of the data analytics function and the development of organisational KPI's.

The Head of Operations will have line management responsibility for all Operational areas.

Applicants must have the following essential requirements A minimum of 5 years' experience working in a healthcare or social care environment with senior management responsibilities for service management, directing and planning of departmental activities in conjunction with the management of staff and resources available.
This should include operational and financial/budgetary experience in the delivery of complex health services. A minimum of 3 years' working in the disability sector as a senior manager. A third level qualification preferably in Health Services Management, Business Administration, or other relevant qualification (Minimum QQI Level 8 or equivalent). Experience of leading within a multi-disciplinary team environment. Experience of clinical and /or corporate governance. Have a significant track record of achievement as a leader and senior manager in a large complex and performance driven organisation. A track record of delivering change, national policies and programmes at a local level through multiple stakeholders in an organisation of similar complexity. Knowledge of the policies and procedures of the CRC and PDS. Excellent organisational skills with an attention to detail and ability to prioritise and handle complex situations and competing demands. System knowledge, data analytics on CM8, NASS and proficiency in MS Office. Excellent communication skills with an ability to deal appropriately and sensitively with people at all levels. Department of Health salary scale General Manager Grade (€82,409 - €102,508 Grade Code 0041).
