Reporting to the Head of Talent & Organisational Capability, this role is critical to positioning our organization as the employer of choice for talented and ambitious people, creating the right environment for everyone to grow and thrive.
Key Accountabilities:Capability Building: Lead the design and delivery of initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities and foster a continuous learning culture.Leverage Technology and Skills Academies: Utilize modern learning technologies to deliver scalable development solutions and establish skills academies.Career Development: Partner across the business to develop comprehensive skills and growth pathways for employee progression.Stakeholder Management: Meet the needs of a complex set of stakeholders and ensure transparent KPI reporting.Team Leadership & Budget Management: Lead and mentor the team to deliver effective organizational capability interventions and manage budgets.Criteria For Role:Strong strategic thinking and ability to execute programs that deliver people solutions aligned to strategic business outcomes.Experience enabling sustained organizational performance.Extensive leadership and people management experience.Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage diverse leaders and stakeholders.Familiarity with modern learning technology and platforms.Proven ability to design and implement successful capability development programs.Strong program and project management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive decisions.Knowledge of performance and change management practices.Living our Values:We work best together.We do the right thing.We put customers at the heart of everything.We find better ways.We aim high.About us:Irish Life is one of Ireland's largest financial institutions, helping people with their life insurance, pension, investment, and health insurance needs for over 80 years.
