About the role: The Head of PAG – Ireland is an exciting role working within the Global PAG (People Advisory Group) Function.
ER/LR - The Head of PAG – Ireland will take the lead on the provision of Labour Relations and Employee Relations guidance within Ireland, specifically about escalated cases where the risks are potentially.
Manage Projects related to the PAG Strategy - You will manage the delivery of Employee Relations (ER) and Labour Relations (LR) projects across all functions and employees within Ireland.
Policy Development to allow Employee Experience - Create HR Policy Framework and Country HR Policy Suite for Ireland. Aligned with global/regional HR guidance, take a lead in developing and defining policies that position Takeda competitively in the country.
Country Governance - Create and lead in Country HR governance Process for Ireland. Create a platform to align HR issues that affect HR Strategy in country or multiple LR/ER impacts across different departments.
How you will contribute: Employee Relations Follow global processes and frameworks, roll out and implement agreed Employee-Related Investigations Policies and Process.Provide counsel to HRBL and HRP on complex employee relations issues, proposing fair resolutions while ensuring legal compliance and evaluating risk mitigation to the Company.Lead delivery of local processes and trainings related to employee relations including on matters of labour negotiation and coaching to management and HR partners.Investigate complex (escalated) cases, involving senior managers or where the risks are potentially, being the central contact for Ethics & Compliance and Legal on those matters.Create a collaborative dispute resolution environment by managing workplace mediation process and facilitate advanced to resolve disputes.Roll out specific frameworks and lead ER case management such as Performance improvement counselling, Employee investigations, Involuntary termination documentation, Disciplinary and RIF documentation across the region and following global plans.Strengthen Takeda's people strategy to avoid investigations and case management by harmonizing people initiatives and annual processes.Attend and contribute to the PAG Community of Practice.Maintain knowledge of Global ER & LR trends and Regulations, Country labour law and tribunal cases.Ensure that the ER dashboard is up to date with relevant action plans.Work with the owner of other HR communication on their communication content, planning and approaches.Labour Relations Communicate the Global Labour Relations Strategy regionally and locally, following the Labour Relations Framework.Roll out Local Education Materials for HR and Business Leaders on Labour Relations.Work with the Labour Relations Strategy & EWC Lead to ensure positive labour relations is maintained across the region.Work with the Multi Country PAG team to ensure positive labour relations is maintained across the designated geography.Project Management & Governance Provide end-to-end project management on plans such as HR policy introduction and roll out alongside the Project Lead.Help deploy global systems across the region by providing technical advice to project lead in the design phase of projects from an ER/LR perspective.Provide end to end technical advice, expertise in HR change proposals and programs ensuring that correct governance is in place and implemented.Socialise and simplify solutions that enhance the employee experience across the region.Aligned with global/regional HR guidance, take a lead in developing and defining policies that position Takeda competitively.Where required support Labour relations activities including the management of acquisition integration/ divestment communication/consultation.Create appropriate regional and country governance for HR following Global Guidance.What you bring to Takeda: An expert in Employee Relations.Specialist in Labour Relations.Manage the complexity of implementing business change.Balance and mitigate risks and provide credible advice.Collaboration skills with all relevant in HR and the business.Experience working in a unionized environment and with Works Councils is an advantage.Track record in implementing plans to improve employee experience.Cross multiple groups and coach leaders.Required to convey complex information.Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a background in labour or employment law.At least 5 years' experience in Labour or Employee Relations with evidence of LR/ER expertise.Experience in complex and multi-country HR organization with understanding of local and regional diversity.Accountability in previous roles for multiple geographies is necessary.Experience with employment regulations and labour law across multiple geographies.Human Resources experience in the health care or pharmaceutical industry.Proficient in multiple languages.Partnership and collaboration focus to
