Head of People & Culture - Mayo I am currently seeking an HR leader to drive innovation, operational efficiency, and a culture of excellence within an organisation experiencing transformational change.
Key Responsibilities: Shape the organization's culture to reflect its values and missions, creating an inclusive, supportive work environment that prioritizes employee wellbeing and engagement.Lead the development and execution of a strategic HR plan, fostering a performance-driven culture through continuous training and development initiatives.Develop a robust culture through role modelling values and behaviours which drive a culture of engagement of all employees and build a strong organisational commitment and staff retention.Oversee the Performance Review & Development framework, ensuring that leadership teams are motivated and equipped to drive operational success and exceed targets.Manage all aspects of HR operations including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, training, and compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.Set and maintain high standards of operational excellence, accountability, and ethical behavior across the organization.Skills & Competencies: Demonstrate excellent communication skills both internally and externally and be able to demonstrate a proactive approach.Be approachable, personable, energetic with the highest standard of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. A people person with a growth mind-set, accessible and open to our team members, always willing to listen, assist and support.Ability to write (as necessary), plan and direct the development and maintenance of training programmes for all levels of staff.Knowledge and experience of introducing new ideas to improve employee engagement.Organised, innovative and results driven with the ability to manage multiple assignments in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Masters in HR or a related discipline (CIPD qualification is desirable).Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior HR management role.Strong communication and strategic planning skills.Hospitality industry experience and knowledge of Alkimii system is a strong advantage.Attention to detail, commercial awareness with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
