Description The Head of Purchasing will support operational efficiency and quality in engineering output by overseeing procurement strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.

Main Responsibilities: Coordination of purchasing at company level Support the Project Manager in defining and implementing the divisional purchasing strategy Implementation and further development of group-wide and division-wide Material Group Management Optimisation of replenishment times and implementation of a multi-supplier strategy Ensure the availability of materials Lead on reduction in material costs Manage Purchasing Department staff Develop purchasing methods and tools Take responsibility for purchasing control Lead in all purchasing project portfolio Requirements: 5+ years of experience in procurement management Sound knowledge of procurement strategies Educated to degree level or hold relevant qualifications coupled with extensive experience This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, negotiable based on experience, along with an additional package including pension benefits.
