Job Title: Head/Director/VP of Software Engineering Location: Dublin (Hybrid – 1 to 2 Days in Office)
Contract Role Overview: I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Head/Director/VP of Software Engineering to lead a high-performing technical team in an established Irish company.
This contract role will provide strategic leadership and technical guidance across key business functions, focusing on aligning technical and operational teams with business objectives.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in people management, technical leadership, and operational integration.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership and Management: Coach and Develop managers of managers of a team of 60 to 70 technical professionals, ensuring accountability and fostering a collaborative culture across the technical and operational teams.Strategic Oversight: Provide strategic leadership to align the software engineering function with the company's business goals and operational needs.
