The Role Based in Tekno Surgical, Fonthill, Dublin and reporting to the General Manager, this senior role is responsible for leading and managing the Supply Chain & Operations team (comprising Purchasing, Warehouse, Loan Operations, Inventory Control) to deliver superior service to our customers in line with industry best practice, within an increasingly complex and competitive business environment, while optimising the working capital investment in the business.
The role requires effective engagement, collaboration, and relationship management across enabling functions and particularly with the Clinical Field-based team.
A significant change management program is currently underway at Tekno Surgical in line with the strategic plan for continued growth.
The successful candidate will play a central role in leading this change and will be expected to bring proven ability and experience of leading successful transformative change. Key Responsibilities Leadership, management, and development of the Supply Chain & Operations Team , (comprising Purchasing, Warehouse, Loan Operations, Inventory Control) - approx.

Emphasis on process simplification and right-first-time processing, driving operational efficiency Ensure that the appropriate systems and policies are in place to sustain and improve the delivery of a quality service to customers Compliance with all Health & Safety requirements Adherence to Quality Management System, Compliance and Regulatory requirements Proactively support sustainability and environmental objectives Implementation and management of appropriate KPI's Manage the operation within the approved Budget Development and execution of a strategy that optimises and controls Tekno Surgical's entire stock investment to meet/exceed the needs of our customers and their patients and to meet the company's financial goals.
The strategy will comprise an overarching approach for the planning, design, execution, control and monitoring of all stock related activities, delivering on key performance indicators.
Scope includes all Tekno Surgical owned and Supplier owned stock across all locations - includes all stock types, implants, consumable, instrumentation, capital Manage and deliver all day-to-day operational responsibilities related to inventory management & control function Proactive engagement with key Principals' supply chain teams to influence/drive performance regarding product supply and deliveries Play a leading role in the implementation of the Strategic Plan for Tekno Surgical (Defend & Grow) focused on the next phase of Tekno Surgical's growth journey Sustainable and efficient Operation - Tekno 2.0 Enabling Functions Project Support Medtech ERP project to ensure a seamless introduction Strategically plan and manage the functions, ensuring required capacity is planned and in place Drive innovation and efficiencies across the operation.
