Health And Safety Graduate

Our client is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Health and Safety Graduate to join their busy manufacturing operation. As a Health and Safety Graduate, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all employees, as well as maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety audits, and providing training to employees Key Responsibilities: Assist in the promotion of a strong health and safety culture within the workplace through a robust near miss and hazard reporting system. Continuous involvement and communication with EHS Manager and other department representatives Conducting safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures Providing safety training to employees and management Investigating accidents and incidents and recommending corrective actions Maintaining compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Collaborating with other departments to ensure safety standards are met Participating in the development of emergency response plans Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in health and safety regulations Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field Preferably college work placement experience in the area of health and safety Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Other information: Hours of work Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm Other Benefits - including pension and health insurance Hybrid not an option currently If you are passionate about health and safety and are looking for an exciting opportunity to start your career, we encourage you to apply for this position.
