Health & Safety Lead - Kildare Our clients, a multi-national supplier of Manufacturing plant and engineering expertise, are looking to recruit and experience Health and Safety Lead to join their team.
You will report to the director of QSHE.
This role will be based at the companys office in Kildare, but will also visit customer sites all over Ireland.
The Role: Assisting in the development and implementation of H&S policies and procedures in line with continuous improvement programmes.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and ensure appropriate control measures are in place to mitigate workplace hazards.
Assist the QHSE leadership regarding training, mentoring, and performance management reword maybe Completion of regular site safety inspections with evaluate compliance.
Carry out accident/incident investigations and develop lessons learned as part of continual improvement programmes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate health and safety considerations into business processes and decision-making.
Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns in accordance with local and regional initiatives.
Act as a liaison with regulatory agencies, internal H&S Regional Teams, and other stakeholders on health and safety matters.
Playdown or reword maybe Assist in preparing and presenting to senior management on health and safety performance.
Deliver Health & Safety training in line with company policy.
The Person: Bachelor's degree in health and safety or a related field.
3 5 years experience in a similar Health and Safety role.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multifunctional team.
Thorough knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and auditing skills.
Experience with the integration of ISO45001 Safety Management Systems.
(Preferable) Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
