Role We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to join our team in Kildare.
As Health & Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in the construction and delivery phases, ensuring the company's ongoing success in securing and delivering projects.
The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing the Health & Safety activities on all our live sites.
This includes developing and maintaining the Health & Safety plan and safety program for each project, ensuring cross-functional compliance, and supporting the Quantum management team in driving and promoting a culture of compliance and safety excellence.
Responsibilities Design, promote, and lead Health & Safety implementation plans in line with contractual and project-specific requirements.
Manage legal obligations and client expectations in line with industry best practices.
Drive Quantum quality and H&S expectations on-sites.
Oversee the development and continuous improvement of site-specific risk assessments and permit to work systems to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
Drive compliance and continuous improvement through auditing and staff training.
Engage with staff to ensure a culture of safety excellence is achieved and maintained.
Conduct, manage, and review incident investigations.
Review process and equipment changes to identify potential Health & Safety impacts.
Review and report on relevant Health & Safety KPIs.
Engage with the project teams to ensure key contractual requirements are fulfilled.
Provide weekly and monthly reports to site teams, key stakeholders, and partners.
Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
Experience & Skills 4+ years' experience in a similar role.
Third level qualification in Health & Safety Management or related field.
Practical implementation of Risk Management Systems.
Experience in timber frame and traditional building projects.
Strong analytical, auditing, and documentation skills.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
Full driving license.
Positive, can-do attitude, meticulous attention to detail, collaborative team player.
Strong IT skills with competency in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
