Health and Safety Specialist As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing SOP updates for H&S compliance. This is a full-time permanent position in Little Island, Cork with one of Ireland's leading chemical manufacturers.
Overview of Main Responsibilities: Coordinate the updates of SOPs within productionPreparation of Dangerous Goods NotesPreparation of Safety Data Sheets using third party softwareReview and maintain product labelsReview various packaging ensuring UN complianceFirst Aid Coordinator ensuring all areas covered for PPEControlling stock of PPECoordinate fire risk assessmentReview and liaise with register of maintenance contractorsWhat the ideal candidate looks like: Third level degree in Health and Safety is advantageous.Previous experience in an SME environment is preferred.DGSA Qualified would be advantageous.Experience in a chemical-related field is advantageous.Strong ability to work independently.For a confidential discussion and more information on the role, please contact Alicja Burchardt. ****** (021) 2427109
