Job DescriptionTo meet the growing demand for our Health & Safety Consultancy services, we wish to recruit a Health & Safety Advisor to join our team.
The Role
As a Health & Safety Advisor, you will be part of a team that will:
Provide Occupational Health & Safety consultancy services to MKO clientsProvide construction safety consultancy services, including fulfilling the role of PSDP on a wide range of both renewable energy projects and on "standard" construction projects.Seek to extend the breadth and reach of MKO Health & Safety Consultancy servicesPromote a safety culture throughout MKO.This is an exciting role that will allow the successful candidate to further develop their Health & Safety Management skills and experience.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a third level qualification in Safety and Health at Work, and have at least 2 years work experience in a health & safety role, with experience in:
Fulfilling and coordinating the role of Project Supervisor for the Design Process (PSDP)Undertaking auditing / inspections / accident or incident investigationsEvaluating contractor Risk Assessment and Method StatementsCompany Health & Safety reviews and auditsDeveloping staff Health & Safety training plansOther desirable qualifications include:
