Health & Safety Advisor

Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor with a Leading Civil and Engineering Company Job Summary: A Health & Safety Advisor is required for a leading civil and engineering company in Ireland, specializing in Water, Civils, and ESB projects. The role is based in Dublin North but involves travel to various sites across Leinster. The advisor will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote a safety culture, and implement safety measures across all projects. Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards. Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions. Investigate accidents and incidents, and provide detailed reports with recommendations. Deliver health and safety training to employees and subcontractors. Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and external stakeholders on safety matters. Maintain up-to-date records of health and safety activities and incidents. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Requirements: Relevant qualification in Health & Safety Proven experience in a similar role within the Water, Civils, or ESB sectors. In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Full driving license. Benefits: Competitive salary (€45,000 - €55,000, depending on experience). Pension scheme. Performance-related bonus.
