Healthcare Assistant

Responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to: * Maintaining a warm and safe environment for our residents at Haven Bay * Work as part of Haven Bay team ensuring a warm and harmonious working environment for all at the Care Centre * Assist residents in the activities of daily living * Treat residents as individuals and respect their preferences and choices as far as possible * Assist residents in personal care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene are maintained * Assist in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for residents, families, visitors, staff and volunteers to the Care Centre * Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations and local policies as directed * Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all residents and the Care Centre's private information * Attend appropriate mandatory and discretionary training programmes as directed * Act in a professional manner as a representative of Haven Bay Care Centre at all times * Report any incident or deficit which may arise in the course of your employment * Undertake any other duties as required to maintain quality care as directed by the Nursing staff, Director of Care or the Operations Manager Annual remuneration: €27,000 Weekly working hours: 39 hours a week Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent Pay: €27,000.00 per year
