Excel Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) on a full time, permanent contract, for a quaint nursing home located in Co. Laois. Responsibilities of a Healthcare Assistant: Attend to resident's personal care needs and assist with activities of daily living. Providing a high standard of care and service within the workplace. Ensure excellent communication between residents and their family. Be punctual and manage time effectively. Provide guidance to new healthcare assistants during training. Work as part of wider multidisciplinary team, including staff nurses, clinical nursing managers and other healthcare professionals. Requirements of a HCA: QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Studies or equivalent. Proven experience in the healthcare industry. Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
