The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be patient, empathetic and have a passion for caring for others.
Key Responsibilities: Assisting clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingProviding prompting with prescribed medicationPreparing and serving meals and snacksLight housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundryAssisting clients with mobility and transfersProviding companionship and emotional support to clientsRequirements: Minimum of 6 months experience in a care-giving roleQQI Level 5 in Healthcare or equivalent - must have 2 modules 'Care Skills' and 'Care of the Older Person' at a minimumFull driving license and access to a car is desirable, but not essential depending on locationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekendsWe can only employ individuals who are Irish Nationals, EU nationals or those who have pre-existing work authorisation.If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and support to those in need, we would love to hear from you.
