Heating and Air Conditioning Installation Technician Technical Certificate of CreditThe Heating and Air Conditioning Installation Technician TCC prepares students for careers in the installation of heating and air conditioning systems. Emphasis is placed on the theory and practical application skills necessary for successful employment.
This program supports the needs of the area air conditioning industry by providing a reliable supply of trained technicians. It enables participants to attain educational and practical work experience to become employed as heating and air conditioning installation technicians. The program also provides safe educational facilities that support effective learning through standard curriculum, instructional materials, and equipment, promoting an atmosphere for lifelong learning as a means for enhancing long-term employment opportunities.
Students may enter the program any semester. A full-time student can complete this program in one semester. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 12 semester credit hours. Upon completion, students are eligible to take the 608 Air Conditioning exam ($50.00).
