The company employs over 80 team members and due to continued investment and expansion are now looking to recruit an experienced and professional HGV Jet Vac Tanker Driver to support our organisation.
As an HGV Jet Vac Tanker Driver with our company, you will play a critical role in our operations by operating a Jet Vac vehicle.
Your primary responsibility will be to safely and efficiently transport and operate the Jet Vac Tanker to provide vacuum and jetting services for various purposes.
This position requires a dedicated and responsible individual who values safety, reliability, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: Operation of Jet Vac Tanker: Safely and efficiently operate the Jet Vac Tanker, including the operation of vacuum and jetting equipment, in compliance with company and industry standards.
Safety: Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to traffic regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the Jet Vac Tanker, reporting any issues or defects promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any maintenance or service performed on the vehicle.
Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as spills or blockages, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and protect the environment.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including technicians and dispatch, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Qualifications: Valid HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) license with Category C and preferably Category C+E.
ADR (Dangerous Goods) certification (desirable but not mandatory).
Previous experience operating Jet Vac Tanker vehicles is a strong advantage.
Knowledge of vacuum and jetting equipment and procedures.
Excellent driving record with a focus on safety.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work varying hours and respond to emergency call-outs.
Working Day Five over Six (Monday to Saturday).
