HireForce has been engaged by a leading Irish Plc who is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
The Tax Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance, providing expert guidance on tax-related matters, and supporting the business in managing its tax obligations effectively.
Other responsibilities include the following: Supporting in respect of tax reporting for half year and year-end financial audit Assisting in the preparation of tax compliance with emphasis on Corporation Tax and VAT Identify and resolve tax technical issues, preparing technical analysis and involving specialists as appropriate to prepare or review analysis.
Interpreting changes in tax policy and the impact of same on the business Build strong relationships with relevant business units to ensure timely communication regarding the potential impact of any proposed legislative changes Exploring opportunities for efficiencies and process improvements Ongoing review of controls and compliance procedures Knowledge, Skills and Experience: CTA qualified who trained in Big 4 or Top 6 in Tax ( 0 -2 PQE ) Exceptional communication skills and strong at building cross functional relationships.
