HR Assistant – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide & Marine Hotel, Sutton The 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide requires an experienced & highly motivated HR Assistant to join our busy People team.

Objective of role: Reporting to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will proactively support the HR function of both hotels and play an integral part in delivering HR support.

Main Duties & Responsibilities: Support the HR Manager in the delivery of the HR agenda for both hotels, ensuring alignment to our core values. Embed and foster a postive culture throughout, where managers and colleagues can freely consult with the HR team, maintaining an 'open-door' policy. Provide comprehensive HR guidance and support to key stakeholders across the business on issues such as employee relations, recruitment, health and safety, coaching, training and development. Manage key elements of the colleague experience including on-boarding, Inducction, on-going development and off-boarding. Support colleagues with general employment queries and employee relation matters in a professional and timely manner Assist in conducting investigation, disciplinary and grievance investigations as required. Ensuring all relevant weekly changes to pay are adjusted for the relevant week on Alkimii, our time & attendance system. Ad hoc HR administrative tasks and HR projects as and when required Any other duties that may be required to support the management team to deliver HR best practice. Please note: The successful candidate will be required on occasion to assist with payroll processing therefore, previous experience with Sage Payroll (Micropay) is desirable The Candidate: A relevant HR qualification with 1-2 years HR experience is desirable. Previous experience in hospitality and/or retail industries would be advantageous. Proficient user of Microsoft office and HRIS systems. Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
