The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our HR team.
Reporting into the HR Director, the successful candidate will have a high level of personal credibility and the ability to build excellent relationships at every level in the firm and is a team player with a passion for providing a professional HR service.
The successful candidate will work alongside senior stakeholders across the business and with HR leadership in delivering a comprehensive HR service in a fast-paced environment and will actively drive continuous improvement across the business.
Please note: This is an initial 12-month specified purpose contract, to cover maternity leave. Main Responsibilities: Responsible for partnering with specified business units, building strong relationships with key stakeholders within those areas to provide excellent HR expertise.Develop a strong business partnering relationship within specified business units and ensure decision-making is consistent within the HR framework.Act as a coach and trusted advisor to people managers empowering them to continuously strengthen their capabilities in delivering people management processes (e.g.
performance & talent management).Ensure alignment of localized people initiatives to the firmwide people strategy.Support the HR Director on the delivery of key operational processes and strategic HR projects.Implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that succeed due to high stakeholder engagement whilst ensuring they are in line with changing legislation and HR best practice.Act as a champion of our HRIS system, Workday, driving engagement across assigned business areas and utilize it to produce robust and impactful reporting and data analysis to influence decision making.Collaborate with all functional areas across the wider HR team to drive continuous improvement of the People Experience across Grant Thornton.Skills and attributes: 5+ years progressive HR experience with at least 2 years' experience operating at an HRBP level.Strong knowledge of HR best practice policies and procedures.Strong business focus and commitment to client service.Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with the ability to influence, coach, and partner with all levels of employees and leadership.Demonstrated experience across a wide range of HR competencies with a history of delivering in a fast-paced, agile environment.Third level qualification in HR/other relevant business-related discipline (CIPD qualification desirable).Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Desirable or an advantage to have worked in a professional services environment.Work Location: Dublin, City Quay / Hybrid
