Our client, an industry leader in their field, is looking to hire a HR Manager to join their team based out of Longford. This role would ideally suit HR professionals with at least 5 years of HR experience who have a "boots on the ground" approach. As a key member of the site management team, you will be responsible for leading and implementing the HR strategy for the organisation. Working with the Head of HR, the HR Manager will drive key HR operational issues, driving the people agenda. This role will also work with the wider HR team on a variety of multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives across two manufacturing sites. Occasional travel required to the Fermoy site.
HR Manager Key Responsibilities: Implementation of Group HR Strategies at the site level in conjunction with Group HRManagement of the recruitment and induction processSupport new employees with sourcing accommodation, social security, and onboardingAdvise managers and supervisors in all aspects of the HR remitMonitor and manage absence recordsManage the successful operation of the Employee ForumsLeading the strategy and implementation of the Talent Management programme for the organisationManagement of Temporary Agency ProvidersPartner with Senior Managers to deliver on the workforce planning agenda in line with business needsManage employee probationary periods and provide support and advice to managementLead the training agenda for the organisation, working closely with senior managers to deliver the sameMaintenance of a site succession plan in conjunction with the Site Manager and the site's L&D agenda with the site trainer and functional managersDrive Employee Engagement programme agenda for the companyCoach and Mentor site managers in the business, supporting them with the development of their own teamsEnhance connections with local Universities in order to deliver the best-in-class Graduate programmesPlay a key role on the senior management team, delivering people-focused solutions for the organisationWhat the ideal candidate looks like: Degree in HR or equivalent experience in an HR role with a minimum of 5 years of experienceExcellent knowledge of employment lawSuperior communication skillsExperience in an operational multi-site HR role would be advantageousFor a confidential discussion, please contact Tina Cornally. ******
