Principle Objective Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Operations Manager will lead and enhance national HR operations, driving strategic initiatives to develop human capital and support business growth. The role focuses on continuous improvement, employee relations, and talent acquisition, ensuring alignment with Chadwicks Group's overarching HR vision and objectives.
Knowledge & Experience Third level qualification in HR/IR/ER; or equivalent CIPD qualification desirable. 5 years' HR experience preferably within a multi-site location, 3 years + at management level. Experiences in development and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Irish employment law and UK desirable. Demonstrable experience in Employee Relations specifically consultation and union negotiations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and support the HR Operations strategic development plan. Set, review and monitor the HR/ER annual budgets. Lead and inspire the HR Operations team to deliver and excel on our HR Business Plan. Develop and support the HR Operations team on Employee relations. Maintain and develop positive relationships with external stakeholders including our Trade Union Partners. Prepare reports for management and leadership team when required. Identify areas for improvement within the HR function to support the business in the context of business growth, change management and talent development and retention. Updating Company policies and procedures when required. Management and reporting of HR KPI's on a monthly basis. Manage the relationships with your team, peers and line manager to build a bond of trust within company. Actively participate in cross-functional HR projects. Support and coach management teams to deliver consistent and fair procedures in relation to industrial/ employee relations. Support the Talent Acquisition to ensure implementation of Recruitment and Retention strategies and ensuring we have a clear recruitment process supporting the aim of becoming an employer of choice. Driving the use of Artificial Intelligence to support and optimise HR operations. Essential Competencies Solid strategic and commercial acumen coupled with a practical pragmatic approach. Proven track record in leading and motivating a team and driving operational performance. The ability to build relationships with both colleagues and people managers.
