Human Resources Representative

JOB SUMMARY Provide support in the functional areas of HR, including but not limited to: recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organization development, training and special projects.
Maintain employee personnel files both electronic and hard copy in line with pertinent HR, QMS and SOX related laws and regulations.
Serves as a customer point of contact for employees, answers routine questions and escalates employee issues to higher levels when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Employee relations – Responsible for communication and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.Conduct investigation meetings, disciplinary and grievance meetings.Consult with managers and employees on issues including: performance, terminations, discrimination, etc.Lead allocated HR Processes.Maintain integrity of employee files and data both electronic and hard copy in line with pertinent HR, QMS and SOX related laws and regulations.Updates & maintains all employee records in HRIS database.Timely completion of monthly metrics including but not limited to headcount, overtime and absence.Assist with administration of employee benefit programs including determining eligibility, enrolling employees, and maintaining proper documentation.Prepare and present new employee orientation and initial company cultural induction programs and update as required.Assist team members and management seeking information and guidance with regards to compensation and benefits, company policies and procedures.Assist in the development, update and implementation of new HR policies and procedures.Supports plant level activities such as company sponsored events.Supports plant communication meetings.Constantly seeks to improve work processes; has a quality-first mentality; learns from internal and external best practices to apply to her/his work.JOB QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Relevant Diploma/Degree or equivalent experience.Accuracy and attention to detail.Proficient in MS Office and strong IT skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.Ability to communicate with other team members, visitors, and customers, at all times, in an effective, pleasant, courteous and tactful manner.Ability to work on own initiative.Results oriented.
