HV/MV Construction Manager – Critical Facilities– Ireland Our client is a €2bn turnover, Tier:1 main contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe.
They undertake major, complex schemes with a particular emphasis on Data Centres, Pharmaceutical and Life Science projects Due to continued growth in the region of their Critical Facilities projects division, our client is now seeking an experienced HV/MV Construction Manager.
Responsibilities * Project Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of high-voltage (HV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical construction projects, ensuring they align with design specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.
* Team Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage construction teams, including subcontractors, electrical engineers, and labourers, ensuring effective collaboration and adherence to project objectives and timelines.
* Safety Management: Ensure all HV/MV construction activities comply with strict safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
* Resource and Equipment Management: Manage resources, including personnel, materials, and specialized equipment, ensuring that the necessary tools and resources are available and efficiently utilized for timely project completion.
* Quality Control and Inspections: Monitor the quality of work, conducting inspections and tests to verify compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and regulations for HV/MV installations.
* Stakeholder Communication and Reporting: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including engineers, clients, and contractors, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to schedules or scope.
Requirements * Electrical Engineering degree preferred, with extensive relevant experience.
* Experience 5-10 years construction/engineering experience, working on HV/MV assets.
* Must be open to travel to Europe.
Benefits Up to €90,000 + Package
