Position: Quantity Surveyor (Building and Civil) Location: County Mayo, Ireland About the Role: Our client are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction company working on both building and civil engineering projects in Mayo.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
Manage subcontractor procurement, including tendering, evaluation, and contract award.
Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained and value is maximized.
Assess variations, claims, and subcontractor accounts.
Prepare and submit monthly valuations and final accounts.
Ensure compliance with contracts, industry standards, and company policies.
Work collaboratively with project teams, providing advice on contractual and commercial matters.
Identify and mitigate risks to achieve project goals within timeframes and budgets.
Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within both building and civil sectors.
Strong understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, AutoCAD, or project management tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
