Job Title: Global Sports Trader
Location: Dublin
Role overview As a Global Sports Trader, you will have the opportunity to channel your analytical and innovative mindset into serving an exciting, bespoke product to Flutter customers across some of the biggest sporting events of the year. It's an incredibly exciting time to join the team, with regular Tennis Grand Slams, Golf Majors, Grand Prix and political events all on the horizon as well as major Rugby and Cricket tournaments not to mention the PDC World Darts Championships
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities As a Global Sports Trader, you will work in a customer-focused team in Dublin, with the following exciting responsibilities:
Ideation, management, and compilation of a range of attractive markets for Flutter customers across 25+ Sports Live trading of a broad range of events across the Global Sports portfolio Challenging the status quo: showing initiative to offer new propositions for our customers Risk management: tracking customer engagement with our products and working with colleagues to handle liabilities and provide accurate pricing to Flutter brands
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required We're looking to train budding traders with the following attributes:
A customer-focused mindset and a keen eye for detail Strong communication skills. At ease interacting with both internal and external stakeholders Strong Excel, numerical and problem solving skills A basic understanding of odds and probabilities would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training is provided Flexible approach to working hours. Prepared to work evenings, weekend's and Bank Holidays to meet the demands of the sporting calendar About Global Sports Global Sports provide product to Flutter group brands across 25+ Sports (effectively everything that is not Racing, Soccer or American Sports!). We look after sports such as Tennis, Golf and Cricket but the remit also includes Politics and Novelty events so if you like variety then this is the place for you!
