CRH Group Service is seeking an experienced Information Security Engineer with experience in Industrial Control Systems to work within our global Group Information Security (GIS) function. The role is a full-time position based in the Dublin office, Ireland, with requirements for travel to CRH global locations as required.
The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in maintaining and developing defense against the latest security threats and ever-changing risk landscape. You will assist in the delivery of operational and project initiatives as part of CRH's information security program and will provide support activities across Europe and America focusing on ICS Cybersecurity.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Provide LOD2 support for the ICS Cyber Security platforms and services.Provide technical support to plant automation and IT staff on ICS cybersecurity issues and project-initiated changes.Work with plant automation and IT staff to enhance security controls within their Windows-based networks.Assist CRH business units in applying remediation strategies in response to benchmarking assessments and audits.Develop and manage formal documentation.Provide user training and guidance on ICS Cybersecurity systems.Collate data and produce summary reports relating to security system performance.Administer and manage changes to ICS security infrastructure applications and platforms such as Cisco Firewalls, VMWare ESXI hosts, and Windows Servers.Ensure security platform infrastructure is patched, and vulnerabilities remediated.Key Characteristics: Team player & client-focused approach to solving issues.Self-starter who is task and goal oriented for individual and team objectives.Good stakeholder management skills.Strong administrative and documentation skills and ability to present technical and cyber concepts and processes to non-technical audiences.Strong operational focus and ability to prioritize multiple activities and deliver to deadlines.Understanding of ICS-related business processes and environments.Experience with Microsoft Windows systems, Cisco firewalls, VMWare ESXi.Exposure to Log Management or SIEM tools, Infrastructure Monitoring Systems, Remote Access systems, and Windows patching solutions.Education and Experience: At least 5 years' experience in any of the following: IT Operations, IT Security, ICS/OT System/Network operations.Exposure to standard operating procedures such as patching, vulnerability management, backups, and endpoint protection, and the associated tooling.Third Level qualification (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Information Security, or Engineering.Recognized industry accreditation in IS/IT.Excellent interpersonal skills.Fully proficient in MS Office tools and drawing packages.What CRH Offers You: A culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion.Highly competitive salary package.Comprehensive secondary benefits.Significant contribution to your pension plan.Health and wellness programs, including an on-site gym and fitness classes.Excellent opportunities to develop and progress with a global organization.Connect your future to CRH We are curious to learn more about you.
