Role Description: Due to an increase in our programme portfolio, we are looking for a Senior Threat Management Specialist to join our EMEA based Global Information Security team. The Cyber Threat Evaluation and Prevention (CTEP) team evaluates threats and emerging risks, assesses cybersecurity controls, and defines actions for risk reduction.
Responsibilities: Examine threat evaluation information and oversee engagement with control owners to resolve issues, address vulnerabilities, and reduce risk by driving remediation efforts.Lead and drive remediation work in alignment with the known threat environment, ensuring strategic oversight of the process.Work with relevant control owners/teams to identify areas for improvement in the identification of and recovery from information security threats and incidents, while providing senior-level guidance to enhance overall cybersecurity posture.What we are looking for: Extensive knowledge and experience with information security controls, including the ability to provide oversight and direction to analysts in implementing these controls.Extensive data analysis skills, with the capability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights for cybersecurity risk management.Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, particularly in leading cross-functional teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.Proven leadership qualities: ambitious, disciplined, hardworking, resilient, and committed to continuous learning.Highly organized project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple cybersecurity projects and ensure timely execution.Skills that will help: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical business owners, with experience providing strategic guidance.Proficiency with Jira, and experience using it to manage complex cybersecurity projects.Benefits of working at Bank of America: Private healthcare for you and your family plus an annual health screen.Competitive pension plan, life assurance, and group income protection cover.20 days of back-up childcare and adult care per annum.Flexible benefits to suit your personal circumstances.Access to an Employee Assistance Program for confidential support.Opportunity to donate to charities with matching contributions from the bank.Opportunity to give back to your community through volunteering.Bank of America: Good conduct and sound judgment is crucial to our long term success.
