NetApp is an engineering company, and a large percentage of the employee population researches, designs, and builds software and systems.
This position has primary responsibility for the hardening and hygiene of end user Windows & MacOS laptops, including audit/review/removal of user installed applications, hardening and hygiene, overall management of approved/denied applications and application versions.
This is an engineering role – not an operations role.
While operation of the platform falls under this role, its operation occurs largely through code and automation.Job RequirementsMust have: Experience implementing OS hardening for Windows and Mac operating systems per NIST 800-171 or similar requirements.
In-depth knowledge of endpoint management and security best practices including experience remediating vulnerabilities and completing compliance checks using tools such as ThreatLocker, Rapid7, JAMF, InTune or equivalent.
Some development / scripting experience (e.g.
Powershell, Python, etc) as well as automation skills (tool agnostic).
Deep understanding of either the Windows or Mac OS and understanding of the other.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You might also have: A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field Familiarity with PowerBI, SQL, or other reporting tools Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure AD, Azure Information Protection, Cloud App Security and Defender ATP Experience in cyber security and red team/blue team activities EducationPreferred atleast 5 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
