The Infrastructure Accounting Team supports the annual multi-billion-dollar growth of Meta's Infrastructure investment globally by monitoring upcoming, existing, and prior investments that help Meta accomplish its mission of giving people the power to build community and bring the world closer together.
The Infrastructure Accounting Team is looking for an individual to support its mission.
Responsibilities: Support Fiber Accounting projects including contract reviews, technical accounting memorandums, lease assessments and schedules, journal entries and SOX controls. Oversight of the Network invoicing process, reconcile accounts, collate support and issue invoices to third parties.
Ensure invoices are issued in-line with the prescribed contracts and promote timely payments from external parties. Maintain accounting records for the Connectivity Loan portfolio. Support ad hoc requests and projects including automation initiatives. Assist with month-end close procedures including preparation of journal entries, sub-ledger reviews, reconciliations, cost allocations, reporting and other duties as necessary. Partner with cross-functional teams of Infra Accounting business to collect input and/or provide required accounting guidance that support the decision making of Infra Accounting. Co-ordinate and review the work of our outsourcing business partners. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years experience in Accounting or Finance. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related discipline. Technical and operational Knowledge of U.S. GAAP. Experience with Oracle Financials and Hyperion. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience of collaborating with colleagues and partners to drive impact. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate. Adaptable to changing priorities and projects.
